HOLOPAW--Royce A. “Bucky” Grooms, 36, passed away October 5, 2007 at his residence in Holopaw.

Born October 26, 1970 in Greensboro, NC; he was a lifelong resident of the Melbourne and Holopaw area. He attended the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints in Deer Run and enjoyed family times.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Grooms of Holopaw; daughters, Jessica Heiser of St. Cloud; Cheyenne Grooms of Holopaw; sons, Albert Heiser stationed in Iraq; Max Heiser, Jr. of Holopaw; Cody Grooms of Melbourne; Dalton Bradley of Holopaw; father, Royce Alan Grooms Sr., and wife, Pam, of Winter Haven; mother, Johnnie Marlene Lassiter, and husbnad, Frankie, of Holopaw; brothers, Brian K. Grooms of Palm Bay; Darin Lassiter; maternal grandmother; Hazel Law of Melbourne; 2 grandchildren; aunt, Linda & Jim Corbin & family; and former wife, Christy Machaud.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 09, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Church of Latter-Day Saints in Deer Run. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM on Tuesday at the church. Interment will follow at the Eau Gallie Cemetery in Melbourne.
