Roy Allen Phifer

Roy Allen Phifer, 77, of Frostproof, Florida passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born on March 2, 1938 in Tipton, Indiana to the late Earl and Edith (Penock) Phifer and has been a resident of the area for 6 years moving here from Berne, Indiana. He was a retired Mechanic and attended United Church of Christ in Berne, Indiana. Roy was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the US Army.

Survivors include his wife, Alice A. Phifer; daughter, Tammy Nussbaum of Berne, Indiana; 2 grandchildren, Brandy Bowman and Shawn Bowman; 3 great grandchildren, Jackson Bowman, Chloe Bowman and Apollo Schuller.
