Roy Vernon Bryant of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

Born December 15, 1947 in Russellville, AL to the late Horace Vernon and Clara Wesley (Whitley) Bryant; he came here from Arkansas 40 years ago. He was a retired truck driver for Alcoma, Citrosuco and Citrus World and he loved to fish.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Beth Bryant; daughters, Holly Britt of Lake Wales and Christy Smith of Lake Wales; sons, Shawn Bryant of Lake Wales, John Bryant of Waverly and Isaiah Bryant of Lake Wales; 3 sisters, 4 brothers and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the Calvary Temple. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
