Rose Marie Wyrosdick, 67

Rose Marie Wyrosdick of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

She was born August 11, 1955 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the late Samuel and Dolores Alainz; she moved to Lake Wales from Bowling Green in 1975. Rose was a homemaker by her love to gather, host, and cook for the people she loved and cared for. Everyone was welcome in her home no questions asked. Rose was a strong, inspirational, welcoming, and family oriented woman. She cared for and loved her family and friends. When her children were growing up, Rose was involved in all of their activities and was always helping her husband with the citrus and cattle he managed.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Eddie Wyrosdick in 2012; son, Scott Wyrosdick; and brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda “Mandy” Hayes and husband John of Lake Wales; sisters, Edna McNabb of Lake Wales, and Eva Carrizales and husband Carlos of Wauchula; brothers, Gilbert Alaniz of Lake Wales, and Steven Alaniz and wife Sue of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Wyatt and wife Alyssa, Tristen, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Austin, and Charlie; and great grandson, Axel.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lake Wales.
