Rose Laureti

Memorial Services for Rose Marie Laureti, 75, of Lake Wales, Florida, who died August 12, 2021 will be held Wednesday, August 25th at 4:00 PM at Lake Wales Lutheran Church in Lake Wales, Florida, with Pastor Bill Whitehead officiating.

Rose was born on December 12, 1945 in Genoa, Nebraska to Herman and Mary Silverberg.

Rose's first love was God and family.  That love was followed closely by her love and devotion for her work in the medical profession where she worked in various capacities for over 40 years.  When she could get away, Rose enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Fern Cisky and Mabel DeCaire.  She also loved her cat (Sox), reading, cooking, traveling, music, and old movies.

Survivors include her sons Paul Morehead, Chris Morehead (wife Angi), and John Morehead (wife Kristi).  She was blessed with many grandchildren: Andrea Alsidez (husband Augie), Laura Morehead, August Morehead, Alyssa Morehead, Dustin Thomas (wife Sarah), Tyler Thomas, Leann Messina (husband Randy), and Payton Morehead.  Rose was also fortunate to have 13 great-grandchildren: Amara, Dominic, Matthew, Anthony, Denver, Leighton, Grant, Harper, Brynn, Nate, Beckham, Hayden, and Jovie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and husband, Vincent "Jim" Laureti.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Red Cross or American Cancer Society.

Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery in Genoa, Nebraska.
