Rosa Milagro Pagan

Rosa M. Pagan, 84, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at her residence.

She was born on November 17, 1931 in Puerto Rico to the late Jose Antonio and Angela (Oquendo) Pagan and she has been a resident of this area for 23 years moving here from Puerto Rico. She was a homemaker and was a parishioner of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rosa was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos J. Ortiz; daughter, Alicia Lopez.

Survivors include her daughters, Mirta Urroz (Walter) of Chicago, Olga Butler (O’Dell) of Chicago, Gladys Ortiz of Lake Wales, Yolanda Ortiz, of Lake Wales, Diana Ortiz of Chicago; sons, Carlos Ortiz, Jr. (fiancé Darcy Schaefer) of Winter Haven, Roberto Ortiz (Rebecca) of Winter Haven; brothers, Jose Manuel Pagan of Chicago, Ferdinan Pagan of Puerto Rico, Jose Angel Pagan of Chicago, Edwin Pagan of Puerto Rico; sister, Miriam Rivera of Chicago; many grandchildren, many great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Fr. Glenn Charest officiating. Interment will be held at the lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
