December 18, 1943 — August 29, 2011
Ronnie Shorter of Lake Wales passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at his residence.
He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Shorter & Avera Deloris Walker Shorter. Survivors include his sisters, Darlene Roberts of Princeton, WV, Yvonne Wiles of Clarkesville, TN and Melda Hicks of Severn, MD; and brothers, Willard Hicks of Topeka, KS, Daniel Hicks of Centreville, VA, Jerry Walker of Belvedere, SC and Arnold Walker of Topeka, KS.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville, TN.
