Ronald Raymond Anderson, 89

Ronald Raymond Anderson formerly of Clinton Connecticut and a resident of Haines City passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at Oak Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Auburndale after a long illness.

He was born May 23, 1934 in Guilford, Connecticut to the late Raymond and Beatrice Anderson; he moved to Florida from Connecticut in 1985. Ronald proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Fulton from 1951 until 1955. He was very patriotic and loved his country. Ronald was kind, generous, and thoughtful. He will be missed by his loving family and many friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Betty Burnett Anderson of Westbrook, Connecticut; and parents, Raymond and Beatrice Anderson. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy; grandchildren, Megan and Matthew; and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Lana, Mark, and Leeann; and brothers, Clifford and Harry; and sisters-in-law, Vivian and Pamela.
