Ronald N. Mathis, 66

Ronald N. Mathias passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

He was born August 20, 1955 in Tampa. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Sandra Harris (Jesus Vargas) of Lake Wales; sister, Cathy McKinley of Tampa; brother, Ricky Adams of Lakeland; and grandchildren, Kiarra Lucas, Alexandria Reaves, and Dylan Becton; Mary Hickman and Mary Jones respectfully known as mom and sis thru God.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A graveside service will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with Bishop Edward Bostic officiating.
