Ronald Everett Liebrum, 95, of Avon Park, Florida, formerly of the St Petersburg, PA area, passed Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Advent Health Lake Wales hospital.
He was born October 20, 1927, in Shippenville, Pennsylvania to the late Harvey C. and Lucille (Black) Lieberum. An error on his birth certificate formed the Liebrum’s with one E. He completed his studies early at Taylor Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh PA to join the Navy. He shipped out to the Philippines as World War II ended. When he returned home, he married Martha Marie Lorince in 1948. He started a business as a plastering contractor for new home construction and was widely complimented for his swirling brushed ceilings. Later, he did plastering work on the interior and exterior of large commercial buildings.
He always enjoyed the outdoors - be it hunting, fishing, camping, boating, yard work, and even washing the car. He was able to stay active and independent.
Survivors include his wife, Martha M. (Lorince) Liebrum of Avon Park; daughters, Kathy Liebrum Bailey of Box Elder, SD, Karen Liebrum Mulkearn (Richard) of Roanoke, VA; son, Donald Liebrum of Frostproof, FL; brother, Robert Lieberum of Marble, PA; and two grandchildren: Shawn Bailey of Virginia and Bryan Bailey (Mandy) of Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews.
