Ronald Haines

Dr. Ronald D. “Ron” Haines of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, January 03, 2013 at Tampa General Hospital.

Ronald was born September 12, 1936 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Dwayne and Vera (Mason) Haines and has been a resident of Lake Wales for 47 years. Ronald was a retired dentist of 42 years in Lake Wales. He graduated from Ohio State University, served in the US Navy and was a member of the Lake Wales Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lula Mae Haines of 33 years; daughters, Kyan (Christopher) Sauermann of West Palm Beach, Karen Mason (Doug) Smith of Harrisburg, Pa., Teresa Turner of Winter Haven, Glenda (Patrick) Thurmond of Lakeland, FL; sons, Kristopher (Deborah) R. Haines of Pine Grove, PA, Kyle M. Haines of Washington, DC; sister, Linda Kay Duncan of Palm Harbor, FL, Rebecca Haines of California; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 08, 2013 at the Lake Wales Lutheran Church with Dr. John Glamann officiating. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Lake Wales Lutheran Church.
