Rodrigo Diaz-España of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 20, 1955 in Veracruz, Mexico to the late Santiago and Maria Diaz; he moved to Frostproof from Mexico 35 years ago. Rodrigo was an irrigation technician for Ben Hill Griffin, Inc.

Rodrigo is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rosa Diaz; daughter, Elizabeth Diaz of Frostproof; sons, Alexander Diaz of Charlotte, North Carolina, Joshua Diaz of Frostproof, and Rigoberto Diaz and wife Karem Diaz of Brewster; and grandchildren, Jelani Jenkins and Bryan Diaz

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Pastor Ernesto Muños. Officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
