Rodney Darron Walker, 53

Rodney Darron Walker of Frostproof passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at AdventHealth Orlando.

He was born December 24, 1970, in Lake Wales. Rodney was a custodian for the Highlands County Court House. He loved music, computers, CB radios, traveling, and eating good food.  Rodney also loved wrestling, fishing, and he was quite good at bowling.  He never met a stranger and loved people.

Rodney was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Walker and brother, Adam Walker. He is survived by his father, Elijah Walker; stepmother, Roberta Walker; sister, Angela Cruz and her husband, Esteban of Frostproof; brother, Trent Walker and his wife, Caroline of Franklinville, North Carolina; many loving family members; and his Ridge Area Arc family.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Colonel Chaplain Retired Ken Kirk. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
