Rocco Lasalle Jr

Rocco LaSalle, Jr., 71, of Bartow passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Kindred Hospital in Tampa.

He was born on March 16, 1941 in New Haven, CT and came here from New York 34 years ago. Mr. LaSalle was a retired Polk County School Board Maintenance Supervisor.

Mr. LaSalle was preceded in death by his son, Rocco LaSalle III. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Peggy LaSalle of Bartow; children, Michael (Dedra) LaSalle of Highland City, Ellen (Tom) Verdile of Deer Park, NY, Patricia (Dave) Sells of Lake Wales, Richard (Genia) LaSalle of Lake Wales and Peggy (Bur) Jackson of Lake Wales; along with 15 grandchildren, Casey, Amanda, Angelina, Rocco, Ariell, Kyle, Travis, Trent, Trey, Alyssa, Ryan, Vincent, Cade, Faith and Mikey; and two great-grandsons, Gage and Ryley.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral service time at 11:00 am on Monday May 7, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Father Anthony Bluett officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
