Roberto G. Trevino

Roberto G. Trevino of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring.

He was born April 21, 1940 in Los Indios, TX; and came to Frostproof from Zolfo Springs in 1976. Roberto was a retired citrus crew leader for Elton Crews Inc. in Avon Park, and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Roberto was preceded in death by his son, Ramiro Trevino and father, Gregorio Trevino. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Maria Rosales Trevino; daughters, Elizabeth Ramirez (Ernesto) of Texas and Patricia Trevino (Richard) of Wauchula; sons, Robert D. Trevino (Janice) of Sebring, Adam Trevino (Delores) of Frostproof and Noah Trevino (Dawn) of Avon Park; brothers, David Trevino of Zolfo Springs and Greg Trevino of Zolfo Springs; 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, October 19, 2012 and the funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof, with Fr. Pedro Zapata officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
