Robert Samuel Van Note, Jr.

Robert S. “Bob” Van Note of Lake Wales passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born April 16, 1944 in Neptune, New Jersey to the late Robert S. and Ethel Mae (White) Van Note and has been a resident of this area for 9 years moving here form Neptune, New Jersey. He was a retired Mechanic for Jersey Central Power and Light. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling , Nascar, golfing and was a member of the Golfview Baptist Church of Lake Wales.

Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence White

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Mary F. Van Note ; daughter, Michele Ryan of Ocean, NJ; sons, Robert S. “Rob” Van Note III of Neptune, NJ, Michael J. “Mike” Van Note of Neptune, NJ; sister, Mae and husband Bud Denmark of Dundee; 4 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Golfview Baptist Church with Rev. David Koon officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
