Robert Daniel Ryan

Robert Daniel Ryan of Indian Lake Estates passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Royal Care of Avon Park.

He was born August 5, 1922 in Chicago, IL to the late Robert Emmett & Edith (Yost) Ryan; he has been a resident of the area since 1980. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Aline Ryan; sons, Charles Alan Ryan (Joan Schmeling) of Avon Park and Daniel Alan Ryan of Stuart; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 16, 2011 and the funeral service will be held 10:30 am Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with military honors.
