Robert Oliver Robertson, 96

Robert Oliver Robertson of Lake Wales passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was born April 23, 1927 in Stratford, WI to the late Earle and Mildred Robertson; he was a local resident at Water’s Edge for 7 years, coming from Haines City. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State and retired as a managing engineer for C.F. Industries Fertilizer Co. He served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Robertson in 2021 and a sister, Virginia Evelyn Busche. Survivors include his niece, Beverly Cannady and husband, Larry of Flat Rock, NC; nephews, Rodney Busche and wife, Patricia of Rockford, IL, Gary Busche and wife Patti of Wausau, WI and Tim Busche and wife Deborah of Mazomanie, WI; one grandniece, Lorie Dankers and husband, Jeff Johnson of Bellevue, WA; and one grandnephew, Todd Dankers and wife, Tamara of Arvada, CO.
