Robert Perez of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his residence.
He was born March 12, 1983 in Bartow and has been a lifelong resident of Lake Wales. Robert was a crew leader for Verduzco Harvesting, and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Bonifacio Perez, Sr.; grandfather, Lupe Perez, Sr.; and grandmother, Estefana Perez. Survivors include his godparents who raised him, Felice and Daniel Santiago of Lake Wales; daughter, Lydia Ann Perez; sons, Hayden Daniel Perez, Dréaston James Perez, and Elijah Nerio; sisters, Anna Hernandez (Apolinar) and Mamie Verduzco (Julio Garcia); brothers, Martin Verduzco and Bonifacio Perez, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales, with Father Anthony Bluett officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
