Robert L. "Bob" Patton

Robert L. “Bob” Patton of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his residence.He was born June 14, 1938 in Logansport, IN to the late Robert Earl & Vera Catherine (Bard) Patton; and he came here from Merritt Island in 2000. He was retired from the Cape Canaveral Space Center and a member of the First Baptist Church in Frostproof. He was previously very active in the Elks Lodge in Cocoa Beach. He enjoyed working in the yard and woodworking; and he loved Nascar and auto racing.Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Nancy F. Patton; daughter, Teresa Colson of Merritt Island; son, Bobby Patton and wife, Shelley of Maitland; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Heath Woolman and Rev. Darrol Hood officiating.
