Robert "Rick" Nelson

Robert B. “Rick” Nelson, Jr. 77 of Lake Wales passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 30, 1936 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Robert B. and Mildred (Condra) Nelson and has been a resident of the area for over 40 years moving here from Greenwood, Indiana. He was a retired customer service agent for TWA Airlines. Rick was a member of the Lake Wales Repeaters Association; he was a Ham Radio Operator, a veteran of Korea serving in the US Army and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Janet Nelson; daughter, Deborah Adams and husband Christopher of Royal Palm Beach, FL; son, Brandon L. Nelson of Poland, Indiana; 3 grandchildren

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
