ROBERT ALLON MEDLIN, 59

Allon Medlin of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Salem, Virginia.

He was born September 2, 1959 in Greenville, South Carolina. He has been a resident of the area since he was a child coming from Greenville, South Carolina. He was a Truck Driver for Dawar Logistics in Apopka, Florida. Robert enjoyed wood crafts, the beach, anything outdoors, going to River Ranch, hunting, fishing, camping and playing in the mud.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Sue Medlin and brother Rodney Medlin.

Survivors include his wife of 6 years Elizabeth “Liz” Medlin, daughters Amanda Gause and husband Tony of Anderson, SC, Natasha Ellis and husband Davis of Frostproof, FL, Amber Adams and husband Jim of Port Charlotte, FL, sons Michael Medlin and wife Stephanie of Liberty, FL, father Alvin “Glen” Medlin of Anderson, SC, sister Darlene Parker and husband Jerry of Georgia, brothers Alvin D. Medlin and wife Kathy of Lake Wales, FL, Glen Medlin and wife Christine of Townsville, SC, Anthony Medlin of Townville, SC, Kenneth Medlin and wife Val of SC, and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 4:00PM Monday, October 22, 2018 until service time at 5:00PM at the Marion
Nelson Funeral Home.
