BABSON PARK -- Mr. Robert Victor McKeeman of Babson Park died of heart failure Thursday (May 4, 2006) at Life Care Center of Winter Haven. He was 84.

Born in Poe, Ind., on June 30, 1921, he came to Babson Park from Fort Wayne, Ind., in 1956. He was the owner and operator of the Grove Equipment Service Inc. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a former member of the Lake Wales Country Club, Lake Wales Optimist Club and Florida Citrus Mutual. He umpired Lake Wales Little League. He was a Presbyterian.

Mr. McKeeman is survived by his wife of 64 years, Erma McKeeman; daughter, Sharon J. Morgan, Babson Park; sons, Donald P. McKeeman, David W. McKeeman, both of Babson Park; sister, Murial Isenhauer, Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 4 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Lake Wales Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
