Robert Daniel May

Robert D. “Danny” May 76, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at his residence.

He was born May 6, 1938 in Akron, Ohio to the late Richard Joseph and Mary Evelyn (Flesher) May and has been a resident of the area since 1946 moving here from Akron, Ohio. He was retired from the US Coast Guard. Danny enjoyed fishing and worked as a Millwright for Ed Lamar Crafters and Builders, he graduated from Lake Wales High school in 1957.

Survivors include his wife, Janice C. “Jan” May; daughter, Edie May of Winter Haven; son, Dale R. May and wife Karen of Lake Wales; 5 grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.
