Robert Louis Elliott, 81

Robert “Bob” Elliott of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born August 16, 1933 to the late Roy and Odessa Elliott in Danville, Virginia. He has been a resident of the area since 1998 coming here from Jacksonville, Florida. He was retired from the Navy and a retired Insurance Agent. He was a member of the Assembly of God in Lake Wales.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jean Elliott and son Robert Elliott Jr.

Survivors include his step daughters Diane Kibler of Jacksonville, Fl., Rebecca Keener and husband Randy of Lake Wales, Fl., Holley Riley and husband Kevin of Cedar Key, FL, sons Roy Stephen Elliott of Jacksonville, FL, Larry Elliott and wife Gale of Jacksonville, Fl., Step son Richard Carter of Crescent City, Fl., Sister Cerita Langanke. 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
