Robert Eugene “Bob” Johnson, 63

Robert Eugene “Bob” Johnson of Lake Wales passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 21, 1958 in Racine, Wisconsin; he moved to Lake Wales from Ohio in 1972. Bob was a retired welder and foreman for Indian River Transport and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He loved fishing, boating, and traveling, but loved his faith and family overall. He was the ultimate husband, father, and grandpa.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Roe. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Eileen Johnson; children, Chris Johnson of New York, Benji Johnson and Chrissy Morgan of North Port, and Courtney McCrystal and husband Damon of Winter Haven; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., August 19, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
