Good Will of Central Indiana

Robert G. Essex of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 at his residence.

Born October 4, 1926 to the late Albert & Della Essex; he came here in 1992 from Indianapolis, IN. He was a retired work adjustment supervisor for Good Will of Central Indiana and a deacon at Joy Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. He was also a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Lake Wales and the Central Florida Pigeon Fanciers Association.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Y. Essex; daughters, Linda Waeiss of Carmel, IN, Laurie Pensworth of Thomasville, NC and Deanna Cross of Pittsboro, IN; son, Robert S. Essex of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Avonelle Asbury of Oak Forrest, IL; and 10 grandchildren.

Local memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place a the Floral Park North Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
