Robert Alton Edwards, Sr. of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at his residence.

He was born July 29, 1929 in Heflin, Alabama to the late Benjamin and Annie (Kerr) Edwards; and came to Lake Wales from Simi Valley, California in 1964. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his daughter, Debra K. Miller of Hazelhurst, Georgia; sons, Robert A. & Joanna Edwards of Lake Wales, Roger A. & Betsy Edwards of Babson Park, and Rodney A. Edwards of Lake Wales; sister, Helen Green of Arab, Alabama; favorite nephew Jerry & Janis Edwards of Lake Wales; 9 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held in Arab, Alabama.
