Robert Eugene Douglas

Robert Eugene “Butch” Douglas, 69 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born on September 29, 1945 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Thomas and Vera (Skinner) Douglas and he has been a lifelong resident of this area. He was a citrus shipping clerk for CGA. Robert was a member of the Souls of Fire gospel group, where they went around to nursing homes to sing. He attended New Beginnings Worship Center.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Kathryn Douglas; daughter, Renee Beair and husband George of Auburndale; son, Robert L. Douglas and Fiancé Crystal Gregg of Lake Wales; 3 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
