ROBERT “BOBBY” EUGENE OAKES, 66

Robert “Bobby” Eugene Oakes of Frostproof, Florida passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Florida Hospital Heartland in Sebring, FL.

He was born August 3, 1952, to the late Issac Thurman and Frances Maude (Brewer) Oakes.

He was a self-employed carpenter in the remodeling business. He loved to fish and was a jokester. He also loved music, played the guitar and enjoyed “making memories”.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his significant other, Sharon Jan Liner Moore; daughter, Tammy Wright and husband Warren; son, Garret Oakes and his wife Angel of Danville, KY; daughter, Jaimie Hardwick Diamond and her husband Kevin of Louisa, KY; daughter, Ronda Powers and husband Buck; son, Travis Moore and his wife Dawn of Dundee, FL; daughter, Alicia Oakes and her partner Jim Kiser of Frostproof, FL; sister, Joyce Hook of Morristown, TN and brother, Harold Oakes and his wife Cindy of Ruidoso Downs, NM and 14 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
