Robert "Bob" Stegman

Robert “Bob” Stegman, a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away just months before what would have been his 90th birthday in December.

Bob was a loving family man who treasured time spent with those closest to him. He and Helen enjoyed traveling together, especially cruising, and creating lasting memories with their family. He was especially proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps, a commitment that reflected his strength, honor, and dedication.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Helen Connelly Stegman; his two sons, Scott (Tina) and Kelly (Terri); his brother, John (Gail); and five grandchildren, Logan (Lauren), Sara (Benjamin), Tynes (Brittany), Austin (Kristen), and Mason.

He is also survived by six great-grandchildren—Easton, Colton, Parker, Calleigh, Reagan, and Coha.

Bob’s love for his family and warm presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His legacy will live on through the generations of family he cherished so dearly.

Family and friends are invited to honor Bob’s life at a funeral service at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales on Friday, September 11, at 2:30 p.m. Following the service, Bob will be laid to rest at Lake Wales Cemetery.
