Robert Graham Amick

Robert Graham Amick, a cherished member of his community and an example of dedication and pride, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 16, 2025. Born on May 16, 1936, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Robert led a life full of personal achievements and meaningful connections with those around him.

The son of Harold and Eldah, Robert proudly served as an officer in the Air National Guard, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a profound pride for his military service. This sense of duty and commitment was evident in every facet of his life, including his career as the owner of several laundromats and dry cleaners, where he not only provided for his family but also engaged with his customers and fostered a sense of community.

As a family man, Robert found immense joy in being a grandfather and great-grandfather, which he considered his proudest accomplishments. He is survived by his loving daughter, Carol Amick, and his son, Robert Mark Amick, along with his wife Cathy. Robert's legacy continues with his two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who carry forward his values of love, service, and community.

He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Nan Amick, and his parents, Harold and Eldah.
