Robert Eugene Albritton

Robert Eugene Albritton passed away on September 8, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 26, 1985, in Lake Wales, Florida, and remained a lifelong resident of the area.

Robert was someone who enjoyed the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. He loved hunting and fishing, and he also enjoyed collecting unique items. Above all, he loved his children.

Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gordon “Doc” McDaniel, Elsie McDaniel; paternal grandparents, Loretta Faye Hensley, and Arthur LaVaughn Albritton. He is survived by his son, Hunter Albritton of Frostproof; and his daughters, Hannah Albritton of Frostproof and Haylee Albritton of Lakeland. He is also survived by his mother, Angie Spotswood and her husband Jeff of Babson Park; and also his father, Alex “Gene” Albritton of Dundee. Robert is further survived by his sister, Danielle Grondin and her husband Matt of Lake Wales. He will be remembered with love by his family and by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on September 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Marion Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory, 454 Buck Moore Rd, Lake Wales, FL 33853.
