Rita Kolacz

Rita Kolacz of Lake Wales passed away Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

She was born February 14, 1928 in Buffalo, NY to the late Stanley & Mary Wasiewicz; she came here in 1991 from Lancaster, NY. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #8.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Thomas Kolacz in 1991. Survivors include her four sons, Joseph & Marsha Kolacz of Lancaster, NY, John & Linda Kolacz of Cheektowaga, NY, Richard Kolacz of Lancaster, NY and Michael Kolacz of Lancaster, NY; brother, Gerald "Jerry" Wasiewicz; step-brother, George Nadrowski; 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Buffalo, NY. For those who wish, donations may be made to any charity of choice.
