Ricky Daryle “Pete” Hartwell, 61

Ricky Daryle “Pete” Hartwell of Bartow passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Bartow Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 8, 1961 in Miami; he was a resident of Highlands County for 15 years before moving to Bartow two years ago. Ricky was the life of the party and always had a great story to tell. He cared about his community and gave to many people. He loved his family deeply, especially his wife who he missed dearly. He lived life to the fullest.

Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Maryanna Hartwell in 2017; and father, Earnest Hartwell. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Triana and husband Jesus of Miami; son, Ricky Hartwell and wife Kaley of Bartow; mother, Lettie Lee Pruitt of Miami; sister, Donna Chandanais and husband Joseph of Miami; brothers, Bobby Hartwell and wife Marela of Callahan, and Terry Hartwell of Ocala; and grandchildren, Abigail, Noah, and Mary Grace.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
