Ricky C. Gorman, 66

Ricky C. Gorman of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born July 14, 1954 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Carl Gorman and Lois Shellhammer; he moved to Dundee as a child. Ricky was a retired collision repairman at several care dealerships in the area and considered Eastside Assembly in Winter Haven his home church. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed fishing. Ricky was a fan of the Tampa Bay Rays, loved his family greatly, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed historical documentaries, crime stories, and anything related to treasure hunting.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Carl Gorman. He is survived by his wife of 2 years, Annette Gorman; daughters, Heather Ritchie and husband Chris of Winter Haven, and Nickel Cilia and husband Paul of Wimauma; son, Ricky Gorman, II and wife Dawn of Lake Wales; step-son, Matthew Whisenhunt and wife Richel of LaGrange, Kentucky; mother, Lois Rogers of Dundee; sister, Patricia Murphy and husband Jon of Lake Wales; brother, David Gorman and wife Renae of Fort Myers; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. David Durham officiating.
