Rick Watson Boyd, 59
Rick W. Boyd of Babson Park, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Somer’s Hospice House in Sebring.
He was born May 22, 1958 in Colorado City, Texas to the late Jerry S. and Sue (Watson) Boyd. He was a resident of Babson Park coming from Lakeland, Florida. Rick attended local schools and graduated from Lake Wales High School in 1976. Rick was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed restoring boats. He was a master of many skills and very meticulous in his workmanship.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Scott Boyd.
He is survived by his daughters, Summer Florence of Gainesville, FL, and Paris Patterson of Loxahatchee, FL; sister, Julie Boyd Heath (Billy) of Babson Park, FL; nephew, Trey Heath; niece, Kristiana Heath and 5 grandchildren.
Private service will be held at a later date.
