Richard Steger of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Life Care Center of Winter Haven.
He was born February 24, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Elmer and Lillie (Horman) Steger. He was a Bagger for Publix. Richard was a Merchant Marine for the United States Coast Guard.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years Sarah Steger, daughters Kathy Boelhauf and husband Jerry of SC, Karen Snow and husband Jim of MO, Barbara Smith of MO, Beverly Hastings of FL, sister Doris Rickard of MO, brothers Norman Steger of LA, Gary Steger and wife Heidi of FL, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 9:00 AM until service time at 10:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charity of your choice.
