Richard Lawrence Smith, 67

Richard Lawrence Smith of Lake Wales passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at his residence.

He was born September 17, 1954 in Oceanside, New York to the late Edward and Shirley Smith; he moved to Lake Wales from New York in 1987. Richard was a heavy equipment operator and of the Catholic faith.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Smith; father, Edward Smith; brother, Gary Smith; and stepmother, Lauraine Smith. He is survived by his close friends, Jessica Shirley, Donnie Register, and Virgil Kelley.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Phase 3 Bar in Lake Wales.
