Richard C. "Ricky" Russ

Richard C. "Ricky" Russ of Frostproof passed away June 19, 2010 at the Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 56.

He was born August 20, 1953 in Goshen, NY; he came here as an infant. He was a laborer/tile setter, of the Protestant faith and a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed dancing.

Survivors include his mother, Jeannette G. Russ of Frostproof; step-daughter, Robin Arms of Wauchula; step-son, Shilow Arms of Frostproof; sister, Janet DeLarm "Dudder" of Frostproof; brother, Randy Russ of Frostproof; and 2 granddaughters, Alexis and Marcina.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Rex Daniels officiating.
