Richard "Rich" Allen Noble, born on April 16, 1943, in Batesville, Indiana, passed away on March 26, 2026, at Compassionate Care Hospice in Winter Haven. He was a dedicated electrical engineer who contributed significantly to both Digital Computer Company and Computer Science Corporation throughout his career.

Rich served his country as a member of the United States National Guard. Beyond his professional and military life, he was an accomplished aviator, earning his instrument, aerobatics, and sea ratings. His passion for flying complemented a life of extensive travel around the world, a testament to both his adventurous spirit and his commitment to his work. He also enjoyed woodworking.

He and his wife, Diane Noble, shared 52 years of marriage. Together, they moved to Lake Wales from Palm Bay 11 years ago, making the community their home. Rich is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Greshel and her husband Stephen of Adairsville, Georgia, and Kristen Wilson and her husband Matthew of Pensacola. He also leaves behind his brother, Donald E. Noble of Palm City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Iris Noble. Rich's love for family extended deeply to his grandchildren: Macy Noble, Mandy Tidwell and her husband Tony, Katie Greshel, Bennet Wilson, Eli Wilson, and Daniel Wilson. He was also a great-grandfather to Grayson Tidwell.
