Richard James Rhoden, 61

Richard James Rhoden, 61, of Lake Wales passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born February 16, 1956 in Lake Wales, FL to the late James and Lennie (Crews) Rhoden. He was employed by Saddle Creek as a truck driver and was an avid golfer, loved motorcycles and liked darts.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Terry Rhoden; daughter, Kathryn Rhoden and her husband Ivan Torres of Dade City, FL; son, Richard Lee Rhoden of Lake Wales, FL; step-daughters, Renee Shultz of Lakeland, FL, Melissa Buser of Plant City, FL and Karen Sharp of Lakeland, FL; sister, Ann Johnson of Bartow, FL and brothers, Gary Rhoden and his wife Judy of Melbourne, FL, Allen Rhoden of McKinney, TX;  two grandchildren, Brooklyn and Dalton and his mother-in-law Peggy Hagen and father-in-law Jim Hagen.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 3:00-6:00PM Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Phase III Tavern at 118 E. Crystal Ave. Lake Wales, Fl. 33853.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Wounded Warriors or American Diabetes Association.
