LAKE WALES--Richard L. McQuiston died Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Lake Wales from cancer. Born September 30, 1945 in Ellwood City, PA; the son of the late Harold F. McQuiston and Minnie Hall McQuiston. He was a 1963 graduate of Riverside High School in Ellwood City and attended college at Robert Morris in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed by Bernie Little Distributors in Eaton Park as Vice President of Finance, and also Bernie Little Management Services in Ocala, FL.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cynthia A. McQuiston; one son, GySgt Robert A. McQuiston, United States Marine Corps, and his wife, Michelle, of Hubert, NC; his daughter, Amy C. Hammock, and husband, GySgt Jason B. Hammock, United States Marine Corps, of Quantico, VA. He also had two grandchildren, Alyssa K. Shelton and Alexander R. McQuiston of Beaufort, SC; one brother, Harold L. McQuiston, and wife, Beverly, of Fort Mill, SC; two sisters, Edith Hazen, and husband, Donald, of Groveland, FL; and Bonnie Fabritius, and her husband, Alan, of New Brighton, PA; also his mother-in-law, Catherine M. Nolan of AuSable Forks, NY; along with several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales on the 7th of November at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
