Richard Lee March

Richard Lee March, 88 of Frostproof passed Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his residence.

He was born March 14, 1935, in Rossville, Pennsylvania to the late Richard Adam and Erma Elizabeth (Firestone) March and he has been a resident of this area since June of 1979 moving here from Greenville, Texas. He was a Truck Driver for over 45 years. Richard was a Cowboy, always had horses, his favorite saying was “keep your chin to the wind,” all he wanted was for his family to get to Heaven. Richard was a member of the Church of God in Frostproof.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Luann Carol Yeager in 2007.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Joan A. Miller March; son, Charles Richard March (Pamela) of Frostproof; sisters, Carolyn Miller of Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, Abraham March (Gisela) of Germany, Barry March of Frostproof, Raymond March (Sharon) of Plant City; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof with Pastor Sam Haag and Pastor Wrynn Collins officiating. The interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
