Richard Maffett

Richard L. “Dick” Maffett, 88, of Indian Lake Estates, Florida passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.

He was born November 26, 1926 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late John Kenneth and Ada Margaret (Sarchet) Maffett and has been a resident of this area since 2004 moving here from Key west, Florida. He was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam serving in the US Navy for 28 years. He was a member of the Indian lake Estates United Methodist church.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John R. Maffett and Harold T. Maffett, sister; Margaret Ann Brady.

He is survived by his wife, Laverne Maffett.
