Richard William Kenyon

Richard William Kenyon, 86, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 9,2015 at The Groves Center.

He was born June 1, 1929 in Waterloo, Iowa to the late Lee. L. and Lenore M. (Behrens) Kenyon and he has been a resident of this area since 1995 moving here from Newark, Delaware. Richard was an Industrial Engineer and retired from Champion International Corp. as a Production Manager. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his yard and traveling. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Kenyon in 1997

Survivors include his wife, Sandra L. Kenyon of Lake Wales; daughter, Paula M. Vadenais and husband John of Cumberland,RI;son, Richard B. Kenyon and wife Sharon of Pawtucket, RI; step daughters, Stephanie Barber and husband Michael of Canton, GA, Melissa Trim and husband Freddie Jr. of Lake Wales;step son, Timothy Schultz and wife Tracy of St. Louis, MI; sister, Janet Kaiser of Houston, TX; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 PM until service time.
