Richard Lee Donelson

Richard Lee Donelson of Lake Wales passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born April 18, 1929 in Odgen, IA to the late S.C. & Mable Donelson; he came here 4 1/2 years ago from Key Colony Beach, FL. He was a printing supervisor/manager, a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Carolyn L. Donelson; daughter, Tracy Anne Stokes of Jerome, FL; son, Duffield Donelson of Dickenson, MD; step-daughter, Carol Ann Davis of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Dorothy Brelsford of Perry, IA; and 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Donelson & Jack M. Shealy.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. John Guzzetta officiating.
