Richard E. "Dick" Dietrick

Richard E. Dietrick of Lake Wales passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 at his residence.

He was born October 10, 1926 in Howell, MI to the late Charles E. & Lola M. Dietrick; he came here from Howell, MI in 1981. He was a retired engineer for General Motors and was also an ordained minister for 41 years. He was a member of the High Point Church and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed helping people, preaching the Word and making items for missionary work.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marguerite M. Dietrick; daughters, Constance Johnson of Fruitport, MI, Janice Dietrick of Lynn Winchester, IN and Sandra Mick of Goodrich, MI; son, Richard Dietrick of Luther, MI; brother, Russell Dietrick of Anderson, IN; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the High Point Church in Lake Wales with Pastor Jack Hilligoss and Henry Smith officiating.
