Richard Franklin Crigler

Richard Franklin Crigler of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at his residence.

He was born June 27, 1935 in Shepherdsville, KY to the late Frank and Maureen Crigler; he was a winter resident for 40 years before permanently moving to Lake Wales from Columbus, IN 20 years ago. He was a Mason and a Shriner, as well as a past member of Future Farmers of America. He was an avid racing fan, loved Nascar and Tony Stewart. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Crigler. Survivors include his daughters, Lynna L. Crigler of Columbus, IN and B. Rene Crigler of Indianapolis, IN; sons, Carlos F. Crigler (Teri) of Columbus, IN and Ronald D. Crigler of Lake Wales; and three brothers, Orville Crigler of Kentucky, Robert Crigler (Karen) of Salem, IN and Joseph Crigler of Kentucky.

No local services are scheduled; burial will take place in Indiana.
