Richard Alavez, 19 Richard Alavez of Frostproof passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. He was born December 7, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas. He has been a resident of the area for over 12 years. He was in Construction. Richard was full of life and fun to be around and was a proud soon to be dad, he was also a very sarcastic and loyal person. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his father Tony Alavez and mother Lola Carrera of Frostproof, FL, maternal grandfather Miguel Carrera of Mexico, paternal grandfather Francico Alavez of Mexico, paternal grandmother Herminia Melgar of Mexico, sister Samantha Marie Alavez of Frostproof, FL, brothers Anthony Alavez of Frostproof, FL, Raul Carrera of Mexico and several Aunts and Uncles. Visitation will be held 1:00PM Friday, June 3, 2016 until service time at 2:00PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home Frostproof. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery
